Program Information Management System (PIMS)
InDyne developed a highly flexible, web-based, multidimensional management tool to manage and control our work on performance-based contracts at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), Glenn Research Center (GRC), Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Stennis Space Center (SSC), Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB), and Eglin Air Force Base (EAFB).
This Program Information Management System (PIMS) consists of the following components: a Work Control Module which provides multi-step work flow, work authorization, work assignment, and status tracking; a Performance Accounting Module which provides metrics definition, compliance tracking, and cost accounting by work order, functional area, etc.; a Process Management Module which provides ISO quality tracking, logistics management, configuration management, safety management, and training and certification management; a Management Information Module which provides management information reporting and information extraction for MIS interface; a Customer Interface Module which allows service request submissions and customer status capability; and a System Administration Module which provides access control administration and digital signature capability.

This system is a well-documented, open-architecture design that ensures its flexibility and interface to non-PIMS data (e.g., financial data, timekeeping data, etc.). A web-based database query interface to each PIMS module and non-PIMS databases joins fundamental information categories needed for effective management.
